Does your Policy Cover Fines, Penalties or Punitive Damages?

Actual settlements for large D&O cases can involve not only actual damages, but also punitive damages. The punitive damage award can be greater than or equal to the actual damages.  Most policies specifically exclude punitive damages.  Policy modifications can be made to cover punitive damages in some situations.
