Intern Program
InterWest offers an excellent opportunity to help you build your skills and gain valuable experience to pursue job opportunities at InterWest or the Insurance Industry after graduation. Our nine-week Summer Internship Program that runs from June to August. This is a three-day-a-week position, working Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a competitive pay rate.
At the end of the 9-week program, we nominate our top interns—those who demonstrate leadership potential and strong contributions to the insurance brokerage industry—for a scholarship through the Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers. Over the past several years, $70,000 in scholarships have been awarded to our interns. One of our recent interns received a $5,000 scholarship—next year, it could be you!
