Danté Bellino is the Vice President of Risk Control for InterWest Insurance Services. He has over 29 years of experience working with all facets of general industry. He provides clients with a hands-on approach to employee safety prevention and risk management. He is dedicated to sustaining an employer’s safety program by finding ways and opportunities to integrate loss control, risk management, and employee safety into the production and operations of day-to-day business.

Dante’s background includes working with acute care, convalescent & long term rehabilitation facilities, large medical clinics, universities, community colleges, K-12 schools, JPAs, museums, non-profit entities and employers involved in general industry. He has developed training targeted at employer-specific issues, i.e., defensive driver training with a built-in behavior component, specialized body mechanics to reduce sprain and strain injuries to employees, as well as obtaining baseline status surveys to determine the effectiveness of the current safety culture. He has also worked with clients to prepare tailored risk management services to fit customer needs and to overcome unique risk issues and statutory requirements as well as with the implementation of agreed solutions.

Danté is a graduate of California State University in Sacramento, CA, and has both a Bachelor of Science and Master’s degree. He is an active Professional Member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) and has completed the course work to obtain a Certificate in Safety Management and Corporate Safety Management. He is a current authorized Federal OSHA trainer certified by the Region IX Outreach Program. He is well versed in OSHA,CAL-OSHA, DOT, Workers’ Compensation, Disaster Response, Fair Employment & Housing and ADA. This broad depth of knowledge enhances his expertise in property and casualty risk management, employee safety, employee wellness and workers’ compensation.

Danté currently works with organizations’ ownership, CEO’s, COO’s, CFO’s and Safety Directors to help cultivate their personnel and programs, all in an effort to minimize or eliminate exposures.
