In this session of Employers’ School, we will discuss the new employment laws taking effect in 2019. We’ll also discuss the significant court decisions from 2018 and their dramatic impact on California employers, as well as practical strategies for dealing with the impact.
In addition, we will dive into strategies for minimizing liability for sexual harassment in the current #MeToo environment and explore how to avoid wage and hour class actions. We’ll also discuss the impact of Proposition 64 (marijuana). As always, time will be allowed for individual questions on any employment topic.
